Summary

This study looks at whether giving a drug called iloprost for severe frostbite (grades 3-4) is safe and practical in remote, high-altitude places like Mount Everest. Ten adults with severe frostbite will receive the treatment in the field and be followed for up to 18 months. The goal is to see if starting treatment early can save more tissue and reduce the need for amputation.
