First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study is testing a new blood test called Delta-HLD to see if it can accurately detect liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma). Researchers will compare results from 200 people—half with liver cancer and half with cirrhosis but no cancer—to measure how sensitive and specific the test is. If successful, this liquid biopsy could offer a less invasive way to catch liver cancer earlier.
