Summary

This study tested a biologic mesh called SurgiMend in 9 adults having surgery for a large hiatal hernia (types 3 or 4). The goal was to see if the mesh helps prevent the hernia from coming back and improves quality of life. Participants had follow-up calls and an X-ray at 6 months to check results.
