New smart patch could end stoma leak worries

Summary
This study is testing a device called Heylo™ that alerts people with a stoma when their pouch baseplate is about to leak. The goal is to see if using this alert system for a year improves quality of life and reduces anxiety about leaks. About 100 adults with an ileostomy or colostomy who are new to Heylo™ will take part.
