New hope to keep cancer treatment on track: drug aims to fix dangerous platelet drops

NCT ID NCT07408648

Summary

This study is testing a drug called hetrombopag to see if it can safely raise low platelet counts caused by chemotherapy in women with gynecologic cancers. Low platelets can delay or reduce cancer treatment doses. The goal is to help patients complete their planned chemotherapy cycles on time and at full strength by managing this common side effect.
