Summary

This study tests a new way to repair abdominal wall hernias using donated fascia (connective tissue) from the rectus abdominis muscle. It is for 20 adults who have had an organ transplant or have complex hernias where standard mesh cannot be used. The goal is to see if the graft is safe and effective, measuring hernia return, infection, immune response, costs, and quality of life over 12 months.
