Summary
This study looked at a surgical technique to fix a hiatal hernia at the same time as weight loss surgery. Researchers wanted to see if using a mesh patch to reinforce the repair would prevent the hernia from coming back. They followed 20 patients who had both procedures to check the long-term results.
