New hernia mesh aims for less pain after surgery
NCT ID NCT07350187
Summary
This study compared two types of surgical mesh used to repair groin hernias. 95 adult patients were randomly assigned to receive either a new self-gripping mesh or a standard mesh held with a small tack. The main goal was to see which mesh caused less discomfort and led to a better quality of life in the months after surgery.
