Glue instead of stitches? study checks hernia repair safety

NCT ID NCT07295379

Summary

This study is looking back at past surgeries to see how safe and effective a surgical glue is for holding a hernia mesh in place. It involves 148 adults who had a hernia repair after a previous surgery, where doctors used this special glue instead of stitches or staples. The main goal is to see how many hernias come back within a year and to check for problems like infections or chronic pain.
