NCT ID NCT04059640

Summary

This study is testing a device that uses surgical glue to hold a mesh patch in place during open hernia repair, instead of traditional stitches. It aims to see if the glue is as safe and effective as standard methods, while also measuring long-term pain and hernia recurrence. The study involves 109 people with a first-time groin hernia who are scheduled for this specific surgery.
