Natural remedy tested for common, painful condition
NCT ID NCT06705777
Summary
This study tested whether a tablet containing four plant-based ingredients (horse chestnut, rutin, sarsaparilla, and dotted smartweed) could improve common hemorrhoid symptoms like pain, itching, and bleeding. For 60 days, 120 adults with mild to moderate hemorrhoids took the tablets to see if their symptoms got better. The main goal was to see if this herbal combination, often used for vein problems, could help manage hemorrhoid discomfort.
