Berry & vitamin mix tested to buy time for premature babies
NCT ID NCT06788132
Summary
This study tested whether daily capsules containing cranberry, hibiscus, and vitamin C could help delay labor in pregnant women whose water broke too early (between 24-34 weeks). 84 women were randomly given either the supplement capsules or placebo pills for 10 days. Researchers measured if the supplement helped prolong the pregnancy and reduce complications for mother and baby.
