Herbal sleep aid tested for double trouble: insomnia and tinnitus

NCT ID NCT05212298

Summary

This study tested whether a specific herbal formula could help adults who have both insomnia and tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and who did not want to take prescription sleeping pills. 108 participants were randomly assigned to take either a placebo (inactive pill), a low dose of the herbal formula, or a high dose for three months. Researchers used questionnaires to measure changes in sleep quality and the impact of tinnitus before and after the treatment period.
