Ancient herbs meet modern surgery: rinse aims to ease recovery

NCT ID NCT07340411

Summary

This study is testing if rinsing the nose with a Chinese herbal medicine solution helps people recover better after sinus surgery. Researchers will compare the herbal rinse to a standard saltwater rinse in 80 patients with chronic sinusitis. The main goal is to see if the herbal rinse improves sinus symptoms and is safe to use for two months after the operation.
