Ancient herbs target embarrassing leaks in new study
NCT ID NCT06855602
Summary
This small, early-stage study is testing whether a specific Chinese herbal medicine formula can safely reduce urine leakage and the frequency of incontinence episodes in women. Fifteen women aged 55 and older with stress urinary incontinence will take the herbal decoction twice daily for two weeks. Researchers will measure changes in leakage amount, episode frequency, and quality of life to see if the treatment shows promise.
