Herbal remedy trial aims to stop dangerous colon polyps from coming back

Summary
This study is testing whether a traditional Chinese herbal formula, Jianpi Lishi Jiedu Granules, can prevent advanced colon polyps from growing back after they have been removed. About 376 adults who recently had these polyps removed will take either the herbal granules or a placebo for 3 months. Doctors will check with a colonoscopy one year later to see if the polyps have returned.
