Ancient herbs meet modern medicine in fight against aggressive lung cancer
NCT ID NCT07390565
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a traditional Chinese herbal formula called Yishen Qutong Granules to standard chemotherapy and immunotherapy helps people with advanced small cell lung cancer. Researchers will enroll 308 newly diagnosed patients to see if the herbal addition improves disease control, extends survival, and reduces treatment side effects compared to standard treatment alone. The goal is to see if this combined approach can better manage this aggressive cancer while improving patients' quality of life.
