Black seed gel could be key to stronger dental implants
NCT ID NCT07391384
Summary
This study is testing if adding a gel made from a natural compound called thymoquinone (from black seed) to a standard bone graft helps new dental implants heal better. The implants are placed right after a tooth is pulled. Researchers will compare the gel-and-graft combo to using the bone graft alone in 44 patients. They will check if the gel improves the implant's initial stability and how much new bone grows around it over six months.
