Herbal tablet trial aims to help control diabetes

Summary
This small, early-stage study is testing whether herbal effervescent tablets can help people with Type 2 diabetes manage their blood sugar levels. The study will enroll 14 adults who are currently managing their diabetes either with a low dose of metformin or with diet and exercise alone. Researchers will measure changes in blood sugar markers and quality of life over 90 days to see if the tablets are safe and helpful.
