Needle therapy tested for crash Victims' knee pain

NCT ID NCT06931951

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a special type of acupuncture using herbal extracts (called pharmacopuncture) to standard Korean medicine treatment helps people with sudden, severe knee pain after a car accident. It will involve 40 hospitalized patients who recently experienced this type of injury. Researchers will compare pain levels, knee movement, and overall recovery between those who receive the combined treatment and those who receive standard care alone.
