Ancient plant or simple breathing: which eases crippling period pain?
NCT ID NCT07481552
Summary
This study tested two non-drug methods to help young women with severe menstrual cramps. One hundred university students with very painful periods tried either a ritual using a special plant (Anastatica hierochuntica) or a specific breathing technique for three months. Researchers measured changes in their pain levels and how the pain affected their daily life and emotions.
