Summary
This study tested whether a new vaccine called HepTcell could help the body's immune system fight chronic hepatitis B in people who weren't taking medication for it. Researchers gave the vaccine or a placebo to 87 adults with inactive hepatitis B to see if it reduced virus levels in their blood. The trial was stopped early and did not complete its planned testing.
