New hope for kids with rare liver cancer: smarter chemo aims to boost survival

Summary

This study is testing a new combination of chemotherapy drugs for children and teens with hepatoblastoma, a rare liver cancer. The goal is to improve survival, especially for high-risk patients who currently have only a 40% chance of living 3 years. The study will enroll 100 participants across 15 hospitals in China and also use a simple blood test to monitor the cancer more closely.
