Scientists hunt hidden gut virus link to mysterious liver damage
NCT ID NCT06659588
Summary
This study aims to understand why people with weakened immune systems often develop chronic liver and digestive problems. Researchers suspect long-term gut virus infections might be the cause. They will study 120 patients with different types of immune deficiencies, collecting samples to look for viruses and examine immune responses.
