New screening hunt for a hidden liver disease
NCT ID NCT07317011
Summary
This study is testing a new, automatic screening method to find more people who have Hepatitis Delta, a severe form of liver disease. It will involve about 244 people in Bergamo, Italy, who are already known to have Hepatitis B. The main goal is to see how many of these people also have Hepatitis Delta, which often goes undiagnosed, and to see if the new screening method works better than current practices.
