New shot offers hope for controlling tough liver virus

Summary
This study is testing a new drug called BJT-778 (brelovitug) for people with chronic Hepatitis D, a serious liver infection. About 150 participants will either start the weekly or monthly injections right away or wait 24 weeks before beginning treatment. The main goal is to see if the drug safely reduces the amount of virus in the blood and improves liver health.
