New drug aims for better control of tough liver virus

Summary

This study is testing if switching people with chronic hepatitis D from their current medication to a new drug called brelovitug is safe and works better to control the virus. It will involve about 120 adults who are already being treated for the condition. The main goal is to see if the new drug can make the virus undetectable in the blood and improve liver health over time.
