Summary

This study tested a new way to care for people who inject drugs and have hepatitis C. Along with standard hepatitis C treatment, participants were offered HIV prevention medication and buprenorphine for opioid use disorder. The goal was to see if this combined approach could cure hepatitis C, reduce HIV risk, and support recovery. The study enrolled 198 adults with ongoing injection drug use.
