New triple therapy shows promise against hepatitis c
NCT ID NCT01753557
Summary
This study tested whether adding an experimental drug called MP-424 to two standard hepatitis C medications could better control the virus. It involved 54 adults with a specific type of hepatitis C who had never been treated or whose previous treatment had stopped working. The main goal was to see if the three-drug combination could keep the virus undetectable long after treatment ended.
