New triple therapy tested against hepatitis c
NCT ID NCT00780416
Summary
This completed Phase 3 trial tested whether adding an experimental drug (MP-424) to two standard hepatitis C medications could better control the virus. It involved 189 adults with a specific strain of hepatitis C who had never received treatment before. The main goal was to see if this three-drug combination could keep the virus undetectable six months after treatment ended.
