Summary

This study tested a new drug called MP-424 combined with two standard hepatitis C medications (PEG-IFN Alfa-2a and RBV) in 54 adults with genotype 1 hepatitis C who either had never been treated or had relapsed after prior treatment. The main goal was to see if the virus was still undetectable 24 weeks after finishing treatment, known as a sustained viral response. The study is complete and focused on safety and effectiveness.
