New clinic model aims to cure hepatitis c in High-Risk group
NCT ID NCT03155906
Summary
This study tested a new way to treat hepatitis C in people receiving medication for opioid addiction. It compared providing all hepatitis C care directly at the addiction clinics against the standard method of sending patients to a separate hospital clinic. The goal was to see if the more convenient, integrated approach helped more people start and complete treatment, leading to a cure.
