Local groups lead fight to cure hepatitis c in their communities
NCT ID NCT05479760
Summary
This project tested whether community-based organizations, led by members of key populations, could effectively provide same-day hepatitis C testing and treatment. It aimed to see if this approach helped more eligible people start and complete their antiviral medication compared to previous methods. The study also looked at how acceptable, feasible, and well-followed the program was for clients, providers, and community leaders.
