Summary
This study tested a new drug called MP-424 combined with two standard medications (peginterferon alfa-2b and ribavirin) in 108 adults with genotype 2 hepatitis C whose infection returned after previous treatment. The goal was to see if the combination could clear the virus completely 24 weeks after treatment ended. Participants did not have cirrhosis or other serious liver conditions.
