Summary
This study compares a new once-daily combination pill (henagliflozin plus metformin) against standard metformin pills in 268 adults recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The goal is to see if the combo pill better controls blood sugar, helps with weight loss, and increases the chance of diabetes remission over 24 weeks. Participants must be 18-75, have a recent diagnosis (within 2 years), and have HbA1c between 7% and 9%.
