New hemorrhoid treatment challenge: radiofrequency takes on standard procedure

Summary
This study compares two minimally invasive procedures for treating moderate hemorrhoids that haven't responded to other treatments. Researchers want to see if a newer radiofrequency ablation technique works as well as the current standard Doppler-guided artery ligation procedure. The trial will involve 168 participants with grade II or III hemorrhoids who need surgical treatment.
