NCT ID NCT07559630

First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study compares two standard procedures for treating bleeding internal hemorrhoids: hemorrhoidal artery embolization (HAE) and rubber band ligation (RBL). About 40 adults with chronic bleeding who haven't improved with simple treatments will be randomly assigned to one of the two procedures. The goal is to see which method controls bleeding faster, with fewer complications, and better improves quality of life.
