NCT ID NCT07196865
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at three different ways surgeons close the wound after removing hemorrhoids: leaving it open, stitching it closed, or stitching only half closed. The goal is to find which method helps patients heal faster, have less pain, and avoid complications. About 378 adults needing hemorrhoid surgery will be randomly assigned to one of the three groups and followed for one year.
