New 'Plug and Play' procedure offers hope for hemorrhoid sufferers

NCT ID NCT06175325

Summary

This study is testing a less invasive procedure to treat hemorrhoids. Doctors will block the blood flow to the hemorrhoids using a small catheter inserted through the wrist. The goal is to see if this approach is safe, reduces symptoms long-term, and could be a good alternative to surgery for some patients.
