Summary
This study tested how well a new rapid blood test (the Xpert Hemorrhagic Fever Test) works to detect hemorrhagic fever. Researchers collected blood samples from 408 people across the United States, including those with and without fever symptoms. The main goal was to see if the new test's results matched the known status of the blood samples.
