Game changer? new shot vs old IV for young athletes with bleeding disorder
NCT ID NCT05022459
Summary
This study aims to find out which treatment works better to prevent bleeding in children and teens with Hemophilia A who play sports. It compares a newer, less frequent injection (Emicizumab) against the standard intravenous Factor VIII treatment. Researchers will track bleeding episodes and joint health in 72 young participants who are already active in sports to see which option provides safer protection during physical activity.
