Can a weekly shot help hemophilia patients get active?

NCT ID NCT05817812

Summary

This study is looking at whether a weekly preventative treatment called efanesoctocog alfa can help people with severe hemophilia A become more physically active and improve the health of their joints over two years. About 90 patients aged 12 and older will use an activity tracker and an electronic diary to record their exercise, bleeds, and pain. The main goal is to see if their activity levels increase and if this is linked to fewer bleeds and better joint health.
