First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study compared a small, portable device that measures blood clotting (INR) with the standard lab test. It included 24 adults who had stopped taking warfarin before surgery. The goal was to see if the portable device gives accurate results quickly, so doctors can safely decide whether to use a type of anesthesia called central neuraxial blockade.
