New drug trial offers hope for COPD patients

Summary
This study is testing whether a new medication called Hemay005 can help control moderate-to-severe COPD. About 120 adults with COPD will take either Hemay005, a placebo (inactive pill), or an existing COPD medication for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in lung inflammation and symptoms to see if Hemay005 is safe and effective.
