Ultrasound could help doctors get better spinal fluid samples from babies

Summary

This study tests whether using ultrasound to guide the needle during a lumbar puncture (spinal tap) helps doctors get clear spinal fluid samples from infants under 12 months. The goal is to reduce failed attempts and make the procedure safer. About 80 babies will take part.
