Groundbreaking study tests online tool to stop child abuse before it starts
NCT ID NCT06300957
Summary
This study tested an online program called 'Help Wanted' designed for adults who are sexually attracted to children but have never acted on it. The goal was to see if the program could provide skills and resources to help participants keep children safe and improve their own mental well-being. Researchers enrolled 147 men and compared those who used the program to a group that received other resources first.
