Scientists search for early warning signs in dangerous pregnancy condition
NCT ID NCT07377786
Summary
This study aims to understand if simple blood tests can help predict serious complications for mothers and babies affected by HELLP syndrome, a severe pregnancy disorder. Researchers will observe 60 pregnant women with HELLP syndrome, measuring specific markers in their blood related to inflammation and platelets. The goal is to see if these markers can forecast risks like organ failure in the mother or the need for intensive care for the newborn.
