NCT ID NCT07583472
First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether a special tapping method called the Helfer Skin Tap Technique can reduce pain and increase comfort during a shot in the hip muscle. About 60 adults getting a common painkiller injection will be randomly assigned to either the tapping method or the standard injection. Researchers will measure pain and comfort right after the shot to see if the tapping technique helps.
