First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving spinal anesthesia based on a patient's height, rather than a standard fixed dose, can reduce the risk of low blood pressure and slow heart rate during leg surgery. It involves 104 adults aged 60 to 80 who are having elective lower limb orthopedic procedures. The goal is to find a safer way to dose anesthesia for older patients.
