Shock waves vs. vibrations: the battle for heel pain relief
NCT ID NCT07463794
Summary
This study compares two non-drug treatments for plantar fasciitis, a common cause of heel pain. Sixty adults with heel pain lasting at least four weeks will receive either shock wave therapy once a week or whole body vibration therapy three times a week, alongside a home exercise program. Researchers will measure which treatment better reduces pain and improves foot function over nine weeks.
